“Sue is so solid with the vocals. Not many people can sing, or would even try to sing ‘Invitation’ and she just NAILS the melody. It’s wonderful.”
John Morrison, Australia’s top big band drummer-of Sue’s CD “In the Moment”
“In The Moment” is great jazz, the stuff that gets your brain, your ears and your limbs all buzzing at the same time. If you don’t agree check your pulse – you may be dead”. Andrew Tucker-CD review, Sunshine Coast Daily
“When it comes to straightahead swinging, Sue Bond’s track Drycleaner (from Des Moines) is the standout – thanks in no small part to her rhythm section of seasoned jazzmen – Geoff Proud (drums), Vince Genova (piano) and Bruce Cale (bass).”
